Twenty-six (26) Downtown Great Falls businesses plan to stay open late allowing you the opportunity to view art and enjoy shopping all in one night. Visit and support our faithful First Friday Art Walk restaurants, art galleries, Museum's, and local downtown businesses and thank them for hosting and promoting Montana and Great Falls, Montana local musicians, artists, and photographers.

Zero Tax Payer dollars have been used to create this site.

FIRST ANNUAL MARDI GRAS

Gallery Sixteen will host a Big Birthday Bash to celebrate their "40th" Birthday.

The sixteen (16) artist-owners of Gallery 16 have been working in their individual studios prepare one-of-a-kind gifts for holiday giving. Nancy Armstrong will have watercolors and pottery; Pam Cornelius, wheel thrown and slab built pottery; Kay Feist, Judy Ericksen and Linda Walters have thrown pots in all shapes and sizes. Maude Knudsen and Cathy Marquard have created a variety of woven, felted and knitted items. Joyce Ranum; Carol Spurgeon and Judy Gurnsey have paintings and note cards. Judy Gurnsey will also have painted ornaments and holiday decorations. Shirley Rothwell's slab items will include her award winning angels. Pat Ericksen will again have paintings, art pins and cards. Marcia Hocevar will feature hand-painted garments, paintings and mask.

On February 5th, 2010, The Red Raja Belly Dancers will be holding demonstrations at The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art. Bring the whole family to enjoy these demonstrations and take a self guided tour of The Squares current exhibits.

Russell Art Show and Auction at the Heritage Inn, Western Heritage Artists Annual Art Show and Auction at the Holiday Inn, First Friday Art Walk with various local Art Galleries, Jay Contway and Friends Annual Art Show in the Four Seasons Arena located inside the Montana Expo Park, and the Great Falls Native American Art Show in the Mansfield Convention Center.

C.M. Russell Museum and the AD Club split after 41 years of working together on the Western Art Auction. In 2010 Great Falls, MT will now have more even more selections during Western Art Week as the C.M. Russell Museum begins to put together their own events.

The C.M. Russell Museum is planning a pre-auction preview on Thursday, March 18th, 2010. A "Quick Draw" event at the Meadow Lark Country Club, along with a Wall Sale and Dinner at the C.M. Russell Museum is scheduled for Friday, March 19th, 2010. The C.M. Russell Museum will host an auction called "The Russell" on Saturday, March 20th, 2010.
