and musicians and several Great Falls, Montana

We would like
to welcome all the
Western Art Enthusiasts to
Great
Falls,
Montana.

Great Falls, please take some time visiting the

art Galleries, and Museums. Shop TAX FREE
in some of the
most
original stores in
Montana,
and fill your bellies in one of our
Great Falls Locally owned and
operated restaurants. If you have a
big box palette and enjoy shopping in the
big box stores,
Great Falls
has those too.

this First Friday Art walk, don't worry. The
First Friday Art Walk is held on the First Friday of
EVERY month in
Great
Falls,
Montana.

On the First Friday of every month, Great Falls Downtown will be filled with people attending the First Friday Art Walk. The Great Falls First Friday Art Walk begins at 6:00 p.m. Take a ride on the Great Falls Historic Trolley / Bus, or walk to the various art galleries. On display will be a variety of artwork, photo's, and/or sculptures created by local Great Falls artists.

We'll
plan on doing three loops and finishing
at The History Museum at 9:00 p.m.
However, if there is someone who needs a
ride after 9:00 p.m. to their vehicle, I
will be glad to assist them rather than
leave them stranded. They would need to
call me on my cell phone (868-7800) no
later than 9:05 p.m.

Be sure to stop by and visit The Breaks, Bert & Ernie's, and the Club Cigar, for an appetizer, glass of wine, beer and/or a micro brew. Bert & Ernie's, The Breaks, and Club Cigar will be providing live music for your listening pleasure. NO COVER CHARGE.
Bert & Ernie's and The Breaks will have music live on stage from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Club Cigar will have music after 9:00 p.m. Cool Beans Coffee Pub, a couple of the local galleries and the Lobby may also have some form of live music available to make the evening enjoyable.
The participating Galleries alternate from month to month, so be sure to stop by the Gallery Sixteen, Four West Gallery, and A. Hooker's Gallery, Cool Beans Coffee Pub, The Lodestone, The History Museum, Mini Hawthorn, Studio 706, and of course the Urban Art Project.
A great addition to the First Friday Art Walk is the The History Museum, the Mini Hawthorn and the Great Falls Historic Trolley (bus). Take a walk downtown or ride for FREE on the Great Falls Historic Trolley (bus). The Great Falls Historic Trolley (bus) will be stopping at the various galleries, museums, and restaurants through out the evening. This allows Art enthusiast, food critics and music lovers the opportunity to visit some of the art galleries, museums and restaurants they my not normally get a chance to visit.
Enjoy the culture, art, history, music, food, wine, micro brews and spirits. Take the opportunity to network with the local artists, musician, photographers and some of the friendliest people in Great Falls, Montana.

Friday Art Walk - Friday, March 7th, 2008
A. Hooker's Gallery
will be featuring Bruce Vasser. There will
also be live music by Curtis Thompson.
Four
West Art League will be featuring Andy
McKeever. Patricia Bushly, Gary Davison, Gail
Dust, Kailie Evans, Janet Sedlacek, and S. Carlyle
Smith will also be available.
Gallery 16 will kick off the
Gallery's Annual Western Art Month Celebration. View
the many talents of Yellow Bird, Diane Hausmann,
Monte Dolack, Linda Short, Cindy Eve, Don Hanson,
Christine McKay, and Linda Walters.
Lodestone Gallery will be having artist
demonstrations by Thomas English. View the
works of Todd Lehman, Tom Gilleon, Thomas English,
Laurie Stevens, and Charles Fulcher.
Paris Gibson Square Museum of
Art will be
hosting a First Friday Opening Reception.
Studio 706
Art Gallery will be offering classes and
will be showcasing the work of Barbara Chigbrow.
The History Museum will be featuring the
work of Paul Graham. Graham has works with
oils, clay, photography, plates, antlers,
sculptures, chandeliers, stained glass and fused
glass pieces.
Hit-N-Run
will be playing at
Bert &
Ernie's on March 7th, 2008, beginning at 7:00
p.m.

Walk - Friday, February 1st, 2008
A. Hooker's
Gallery featured art by Alana
Hastings. She paints a variety of subject mater in
watercolor, acrylics, and oils. There was light
snacks and live music provided by Cory Fay.
Studio 706
Art Gallery featured Marlene
Johnston-Haines and Dawn Caldwell. Crafted
Jewelry, paintings, and wool spinning
demonstrations, and more.
Four
West Art League - The Art of Romance is the
theme of the evening.
View artists work, and enjoy hot chocolate and hors
d'oeuvres.
Jeni Dodd
performed at
the
Breaks, and the Impromptu
Band performed at
Bert and
Ernie's.
